Trainee Finance Assistant (Sleaford)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Trainee Finance Assistant based at our head office in Sleaford. We are looking for someone outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.
Your key responsibilities will include;
• Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Processing supplier documents, including invoices, statements, and credit notes.
• Answering incoming phone calls and liaising professionally with customers to resolve queries, take payments and provide support
• Assisting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end routines.
• Review and update the company product file
• Providing sales and purchase reports to support our branches and category managers.
• Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
We are looking for someone with:
• Maths GCSE (grade C/4 or above).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to use own initiative.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• No prior experience needed.
This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch). A professional qualification will be offered to the right candidate.
