Our Brigg Kitchens & Bathrooms team were delighted to be involved in this stylish conversion. They designed practical kitchen areas for three light, bright contemporary holiday apartments created out of barn buildings at The Old Granary.
SHAKER KITCHENS FOR BARN CONVERSION APARTMENTS
the modern shaker look
All kitchen areas are accessible and uncluttered with L-shaped or single wall layouts, making them a pleasure for visitors to use. Grey Shaker units give the larger apartments a classic look while the loft apartment has more contemporary flat-fronted cabinets.
Shaker kitchens – small but beautiful
The Sheraton Shaker range painted in a matt Cashmere suits the conversion’s restful, neutral colour palette. Aiming for a clean and timeless style, the designers paired them with gloss white subway tiles laid in traditional stretcher bond above seamless light grey quartz worktops.
Vinyl flooring – practical and beautiful
These stylish open plan kitchens were given grey limed vinyl wood floors, a practical, warm and attractive choice which harmonises with the plain white walls and natural oak doors.
Flat-fronted cabinets for contemporary spaces
The smallest apartment fills the long loft space and here flat-fronted cabinets in light grey complement its minimalist design. Again, glossy subway tiles with a grey grout form the splashback.
Quartz worktop ideal for small kitchens
Quartz is a versatile kitchen worktop surface – its made-to-measure format makes it the perfect choice for small kitchen counters. It creates cooker splashbacks and upstands which flow seamlessly and neatly across compact spaces.
