Rosie Sleaford visited our Boston Kitchens Showroom on the recommendation of her installer, Keiran from KJB. She told designer Jess that she wanted a complete makeover for her now tired farmhouse kitchen.

KITCHEN MAKEOVER FOR GRANTHAM HOME
The brief was for something light and bright with a glossy worktop and smart new appliances. We managed to get some ‘before’ shots of this project – and so you can see for yourself the magic Jess has worked for her customer!

BEFORE THE TRANSFORMATION
Classic Shaker style
White kitchens come in all styles and for a range of budgets, but together they settled on a classic design – a Sheraton Manor House kitchen. It’s a Shaker style design from the Omega Kitchen range with solid, traditional cabinetry, here painted in soft off white. Victorian beehive pewter knobs on drawers and doors and tongue-and-grooved end panels maintain a connection with Rosie’s original country kitchen vibe.
Low maintenance white worktop
The final layout maximises worktop surface area with both the L-shaped and wall installations offering plenty of preparation space. And what a worktop! Gorgeous Blanco Orion Silestone has the polished veined finish of Italian marble but being made of quartz, it’s extremely durable, resistant to stain, scratches, mould and impact. It’s been used to create the hob splashback and upstands too, bringing a design cohesion to the whole kitchen
Integrated kitchen appliances
One of the joys of having a new kitchen is getting the latest kitchen appliances. A NEFF built-in single oven and microwave have been vertically stacked at comfort height and fit seamlessly into the Sheraton design. The sleek NEFF Flex Induction hob and concealed canopy hood are equally neat and unobtrusive, but offer plenty of smart technological wizardry for the cook in the house
